Hey Guys,  Been a bit quiet on this website for the past week or so.  Not going to lie I also run a healthy living website and run an eBay business so juggling all three can be a bit much sometimes.  It isn’t that I don’t have plans for this website – this review post about Thrive Architect Vs Elementor Pro I have been planning to do for a few weeks now.

Most of this post I’ve actually had just sitting here waiting for me to get my head around constructing this properly but I come across Thrive Leads through the Lead Generation stage of the My Online Start-Up (Free Course) and I actually applied to join the Thrive Themes affiliate program after.

I got my email tonight about being accepted and after reading this I thought – do you know what Alex (that’s me by the way) What about your post you started writing about Thrive Architect?

Believe it or not, I didn’t click right away that Thrive Leads and Thrive Architect were part of the same platform.  Silly I know? but when I did I thought it was a good time to finish this.

As for Elementor Pro well, that is the reason I found out about Thrive Architect actually.  I was originally going to do this post called Gutentor Blocks Vs. Elementor Pro but I couldn’t find a key phrase for this with a good SEO score.  Hence why I chose what I did.

Anyway, aside from this Page Builders are definitely something worth looking into if you have a website and these are both very good examples;

Thrive Architect Vs Elementor Pro

1# – Choosing Your Page Builder

Now,  WordPress page builders have made things a lot easier for marketers these days. Whether you have to create your landing pages or you want to set up your sales funnels, these page builders can do wonders for you.

Elementary Pro and Thrive Architect are two of the best premium page builders available in the market right now.

Both of them are extremely easy to use, and both of these page builders are loaded full with plenty of different elements. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know how to code; by using these page Builders, you can easily make a website of your choice without even writing a single piece of code.

Now you don’t need to hire web designers or developers to create your website. These page builders come with plenty of pre-built templates that you can use and edit according to your needs. Even someone who does not have prior knowledge of using page builders can easily use these tools and create stunning websites and landing pages.

The question here though is which page builder is best amongst these two products?

In this article, we will make a detailed comparison of Elementor Pro and Thrive Architect so that you can easily decide which page builder is best for your needs.

2# – Thrive Architect Vs. Elementor Pro – By Comparison

Now we will compare the features of both page builders side by side to know which one is better.

So without further ado let’s get started shall we with…

i.)  Page Builder Elements

Both page builders come with a lot of Pre-built elements. It means that you can easily drag and drop different elements of your choice and modify them to fit according to your needs. Although the elements might seem similar, both these page builders have quite different approaches.

When it comes to the Thrive Architect platform all the elements provided focus on conversions, such as building/signups, animations, and much more.

On the other hand, Elementor Pro tries to provide you with all elements that you can ever need. But one thing that you must keep in mind is that these more Complex elements are only available in the pro version. The non-pro version of Elementor is free; however, with the pro version, you need to pay for these extra features.

Personally, I have tried the free version of Elementor and I don’t think it is very good.  Everything is locked almost till you upgrade to Pro.  In the end, I settled for Gutenberg Blocks but I think investing in a Premium page builder is definitely the better option.

On the other hand, Thrive Architect is part of an All-in-One model Thrive Themes that comes at a single price.  This I believe is $19 a month and includes other tools such as Thrive University, Thrive Leads, Thrive Headline Analyzer and several others.  I will try to go through this later in the article but for now, let’s look at…

ii.)  Page Templates & Sites

So, both page builders have many pre-built templates, but of course, there are some differences in both of them.

In Thrive Architect, all templates are in series; they are meant to be used together. Talking about the landing page is mostly meant for people who want to get signups on their email lists or something similar.

If you are looking for a template that allows you to create a website with one click and includes all pages like home, about, contact, etc., Elementor Pro is best for you. Although the free version of Elementor has a Limited number of templates, if you want more than 130 extremely powerful templates, then you can go for the pro version.

iii.)  Ease of Use

Both these page builders have a pretty impressive graphical user interface. Both of them have a similar sidebar menu structure from where you can drag and drop different elements and edit them according to your needs. But when comparing both of them, you will find that Elementor pro is a bit easier to use with better and organized editing options.

Although Thrive Architect also has a lot of elements, sometimes it becomes difficult to use, especially if you are a newbie.  It is a bit more technical in this respect but I wouldn’t totally disregard Thrive Architect just yet as I will explain towards the end of this post.

iv.)  Mobile-Friendly Design

In 2020 it is very important for your websites and landing pages to have a mobile-friendly design. It is because 60 to 70% of your website traffic comes from mobile devices. Keeping that in mind, both these page builders try to provide you with a mobile-friendly interface that works very well on almost all devices.

Comparing between the two is kind of a difficult one for this exact feature but in the next section, I will do a full breakdown of each product which in hindsight should let you know what you are getting with each one.

Thrive Architect Vs. Elementor Pro –
What Does Each Package Include?

For this section, I am just going to go through everything you will get with each product.

i.)  Thrive Architect Product Summary

Here is what you get with Thrive Architect…

  • Drag + Drop Page Builder
  • 220 Fill-in Landing Page Templates
  • Easy to Use Interface
  • Access to all of Thrive Themes Other Tools and Plugins

How Much Does It Cost?

To join Thrive Themes you have 2 different options.
1.)  Quarterly Membership ~ $30 a Month
2.)  Annual Membership – $19 a Month

My Verdict

I think Thrive Themes as a total package of 11 tools and plugins, as well as access to Thrive University and its premium training modules this is a very attractive option for anyone with moderate experience of WordPress and web development.  However, if you are strictly only in the market for just a page builder then you may actually be better off with Elementor Pro.

ii.)  Elementor Pro Product Summary

Here is what you get with Elementor Pro…

  • 90+ Widgets & 300+ Professional Templates
  • Theme Builder & Form Builder
  • WooCommerce & Pop Up Builder
  • Support + Updates Included

How Much Does It Cost?

Elementor Pro has 3 different packages available;

1.)  Personal which is $49 a Year for 1 Website
2.)  Plus which is $99 a Year for 3 Websites
3.)  Expert which is $199 a Year for 1k websites

My Verdict

I think Thrive Architect is probably the winner here in terms of value.  $228 a year and you have access to all the other tools and plugins from Thrive Themes plus you can add Thrive Architect to 25 websites.  I think actually with  Elementor Pro if you just have one website maybe $49 for the year isn’t so bad, and actually, if you know someone that has the Expert Package maybe they can hook you up for even cheaper.

Overall I actually think Elementor Pro is the better page builder of the two but for everything else with Thrive Themes if you can afford it I would definitely look into it.  Mostly, for Thrive Leads I would say and for full access to Thrive University but as I have said above overall the package includes 11 different tools and plugins so there is a whole bunch of stuff here really.

In an ideal situation not taking finances into account I would say get Thrive Themes and Elementor Pro and use EP instead of Thrive Architect.  Or even try both to see what you prefer…

In Conclusion

Both page builders are pretty amazing in their own right, but If you want to choose the best one out the two, then you will have to consider your needs.  If you are more focused on conversions, then Thrive Architect is recommended for you, but if you want to create a website that serves multi-purposes, then it might be better to go for Elementor Pro.

These things are not very hard and fast so you can choose any one of them depending upon your preferences.  Either way and even if you consider something else (such as Gutenberg Gutentor Blocks) having a page builder is a very handy tool to have.  Especially if you wish to build a home page this is an absolute must and if you do choose to go the Premium route there is so much more you can put on display.

Anyway, this in mind I would definitely suggest you look into both programs and see for yourself if either is something that might interest you.  Also, below I will again share a link for a free course that I have found very informative and valuable hosted on the Thrive University platform;

  1. This is a very interesting article and very beneficial for me as I am just learning more about page builders. It’s good to know that they are both easy to use. I like that Thrive Themes has so many tools and plugins. Even though you mention that Elementor Pro is the better page builder I am leaning toward Thrive but will do additional research.

    1. Hi Joseph,  Yes me too.  I’d definitely like to try Elementor Pro though I think it’s everything else that comes with Thrive that attracts me.  I never mentioned in the post but as well as the 11 tools and plugins you get with thrive themes apparently they say that you also get any new one’s the release as part of the package.

  2. Hello Alex, Thank you very much for sharing this review on Thrive Architect vs Elementor Pro. I am so glad I am here because I have found the exact page builder I have been searching for a long time now. Personally, I would go for Elementor Pro because of it’s ability to perform multi purposes. Thank you very much for these recommendations. Cant’ wait  to start using them.

    1. Hi Miraclex,  Yes I see your point.  I actually originally just wanted to do a review on elemntor pro vs gutentor but as nothing was coming up in my key word research I chose to do about Thrive Architect as well and as if by coincidence Thrive has been coming up in my research again and again so writing this was pretty easy really.

  3. there’s nothing more important these days than time.  so imagine how much time you have saved for me by just helping me review . Now I know the pros and cons of both page builders.  I really appreciate the time and effort you have put into this.  I think I now know the choices I’ll make.  The one that deals more with what I want.  Thank so much.

    1. Hi Babakes,  Yes you are spot on there.  I use Gutentor Blocks for one of my sites and even though it is free it doesn’t have the quality aspect of these other two.  In fact, at times it isn’t so straightforward and i’m pretty sure with the premium plugins it would 100% save me time, and time is money.  I think actually you make a very valid point here about how worth this investment is.

  4. Thank you so much for sharing this here and trying to get the overview of these two. Elementor pro is actually good and I just hope that I will be able to make the best use of this on my website too.  This is reallyy good to see and definitely great one to see here. Thanks

    1. Hi Liza,  So you use Elementor Pro then?  I hear it is popular with people but just wanted to look at the competition here.  Thanks for commenting.  Kind regards  Alex

  5. I used Thrive before and they’re amazing! Having the ability to use it for 25 sites is enough for an average person in my opinion, as we tend to create multiple sites but if focusing on one website is your only aim, then Elementor won’t be as bad too as their price is affordable, especially for personal. Do you think Elementor has courses too, like Thrive University?

    1. Hi Riaz, No Elementor Pro is just a stand alone thing on its own.  A lot of people use it is a bit pricey in my opinion but as a dedicated page builder, I think there is a bit more on offer compared to just thrive architect.

  6. Thank you so much for considering to share thai article here, it is always a good thing that you can get to learn as much as your want online and your not limited to a particular angel, diversified cos of different things. These two comparison are very nice and reading through it, thanks for sharing

  7. Hello there, thank you so much for sharing this. this is a very awesome piece and a very detailed one. I’m really happy I came across this.  Reading about this article thrive architect vs Elementor pro what is the best page builder sounds really interesting. With all these reviews on both page builder . I think I’ll definitely go for elementor page builder considering my pocket

    1. Hi Charity,  OK glad to know.  I think Elementor Pro is maybe the better one.  Although Thrive Themes I will be seriously considering for all things like optin forms etc.  Anyway, see how EP works for you but if you really have a cash flow problem you may also want to look at gutenberg blocks gutentor if you are looking for a free plugin.

  8. I liked your article and especially that you compared two different web page builders. My favorite is Elementor. I’ve heard of it more, and it seems to be more user friendly than Architect. The architect appears to be a more advanced subject. I am currently using GeneratePress, and I am quite happy with it. Here present to you a new topic to suggest which is better, either Elementor or GeneratePress.

I look forward to hearing recent articles

    1. Hi Lea,  GeneratePress is a theme, and Elementor is a page builder.  You can use them together so not sure I really get your point.  However, if you have any questions I will gladly try and answer.

  9. Haha thanks for the article my guy! Ya know, I’ve never really heard of thrive. Ever since I can remember, I’ve been using Elementor and I love it! I don’t have the pro version, but I think the base version of it is just as good, missing a few things of course. However, I wouldn’t mind taking a look at Thrive. From this post, it seems worth a try!

    1. Hey Jongabriel,  I think Thrive is definitely worth looking into.  Actually, even without Thrive architect, I think they have a lot on offer.  Here is the link for the homepage if you’d like to check it out; Thrive Themes Home Page

  10. I had not heard about either of these platforms until I read your article.  I have been an affiliate marketer for about 4 years.  Writing content for posts has become easier, but I still find it difficult to put together an attractive, engaging website.  Either of these two programs seem to fit what I need.  I am not as much concerned about expense as I am about choosing the right program for my needs.  Based on your article, I am thinking that the Elementor program would be best.  I am going to look into both further.  Thanks for introducing me to these platforms.

    1. Thanks Anastasja,  Elementor Pro is good but with Thrive Themes you get a lot more.  I am seriously considering myself for Thrive Leads but architect comes with the package as well so.

    1. Thanks for sharing Lomash, I haven’t actually tried Thrive Architect myself I chose to buy Thrive Leads rather than the whole package together. Elementor I think is the better product by looks of things but I think you can get the whole Thrive Themes package for a better price.
